| November 2012, Easydrift China entered a front wheel drive race car in the MSC International Drift Challenge held in Hong Kong. The race car is a proper circuit race car, a Honda DC5 with over 230 hp and the driver is famous Hong Kong drift driver Ian Yeung. In order to join the race the DC5 was equipped with a pair of Easydrft rings on the back wheels and this is the only modification made to turn the track prepared race car into a proper drift car. |

| The appearance of a FWD drift car aroused a huge attention and both the press and the crowd was amazed and impressed by the performance of the car. Although the DC5 didn’t make it to the podium but history is already made - you can challenge a drift race with a FWD car! |
